National Code Club Volunteers (KS2)

A volunteer project has been set up to try and encourage programming in primary schools.  ’Code Club’ is aimed at students between the ages of 10-11 and their aim is to get the club up and running in 25% of UK primary schools by 2014.

The club will focus on using Scratch and will lead students through game development and onto using Scratch to control robots.  The scheme already has over 100 volunteers and aims to give the first 12 lessons for free to schools before charging for further sessions.
